The Albert Einstein Academy for Letters, Arts and Sciences is set to open in August 2010 with 225 students in grades seven through ninth, with future expansion to include grades tenth-twelfth and kindergarten through six.
The school will prepare its students for rigorous college studies through exceptional foreign language programs, outstanding academics, and rich extracurricular activities. Its innovative interdisciplinary programs will instill within its graduates a global perspective.
Based on a pressing community need as described by local parents and community leadership, the Einstein Academy will prepare students for both knowledge-based careers and lives as members of a democratic society through classwork that emphasizes global awareness and continual enrollment in foreign language classes. Each student will graduate from the Academy having completed a minimum of four years of language studies during middle & high school (grades 7 through 12).
