The Einstein Academy shall be a public school operated by a duly constituted California Public Benefit Corporation and governed in accordance with applicable California Corporations Code sections.

The Academy will be non-sectarian in its admissions, programs, policies, employment practices, and all other operations, shall not charge tuition, and shall not discriminate against any student or staff member on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, gender, or disability.

The school will comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws. It will retain its own legal counsel when necessary. It will purchase and maintain as necessary general liability, automotive liability, errors and omissions, property, workers compensation and unemployment insurance, either as a part of the William S. Hart Union High School District’s insurance program or its own insurance program
