For weeks AEA’s 4th to 6th graders have been researching and working on science experiments in preparation for our 2nd Annual Science Fair. On February 22, scholars displayed their projects for classmates and proud parents to see.
The School Science Fair was put on under the guidance of Fred Largent and Dr. Steinbeck. Projects were judged by an independent panel of judges.
Fifth grader Wyatt Radar took home the top prize of overall winner, in addition to 1st place in his grade level and 1st place in his category. He built a moisture soil sensor that would sense when soil needs water. Creative minds like Wyatt’s are sure to be important in drought ridden California and beyond.
Congrats to all the participants and the winners.
