Senior Honors Project – Smile Club – Raising Funds and Awareness

Thank You For All Of Your Support!

My name is Aileen Kim, I am a senior at Albert Einstein Academy.

I am raising funds and awareness for my Senior Honors Project, The Smile Club.

Every three minutes, a child is born with cleft lip. A cleft is a type of birth defect where the child has an abnormal opening in the roof of their mouth or the soft tissue in the back of the mouth which causes difficulty eating, speaking, hearing, or breathing properly. However with as little as 240 dollars and 45 minutes, a child may be provided with a life-changing surgery. The Smile Club raises money to provide children in third-world countries born with cleft lip, with a surgery to give them a more confident smile. We believe that every child, regardless of their financial standing, should be given the opportunity for a better life.

In total, we have raised over $2,000 for Operation Smile.

Thank you for all the support!!!

Any possible donations would be greatly appreciated. The Smile Club also has a GoFundMe account with the link as following:
