Relay for Life is a 24 hour event where we honor cancer survivors, remember loved ones lost, and fight back against cancer. All funds raised go to American Cancer Society. The event takes place at Central Park on May 20th-May 21st. All junior high and high school students and parents are invited to join our team. At the event, there are hundreds of teams that have booths with activities to raise money for American Cancer Society. There is a track set up and each team has at least one person walking during the 24 hour period. We will have a schedule for our students to walk and work our booth during that weekend. Our school has been one of the top teams for the past 6 years and we are excited to start our 2017 team.

We will take up to 30 students for our committee. These students will meet every couple weeks to help plan the theme, activities, fundraisers and other details for the event. Our first committee meeting will be held on Friday, February 24th, after school.
To join the student committee, students need to email the team captains and sign up on the community service board signup sheet at school.
Committee meeting dates: 2/24, 3/17, 3/31, 4/21, 5/5 and 5/12
Students will earn community service hours for their help on the committee and during the event on May 20-21st.

- Identify yourself: Returning members can use their login from last year and new members will create a new account.
- Join a Team: select “Albert Einstein Academy Junior High and High School team” and complete registration
- If you want to be on our AEA committee, then you also need to email the team captains listed above.
