All AEA students participated in a day long critical thinking event on March 11th. Students were broken up into 8 teams and moved throughout the building to 4 stations (math, social studies, language arts and science) and participated in an extensive experiential learning activity in each of the 4 content areas.
At the end of the day students returned to their homeroom classes and spent time discussing the activities of the day and reflecting on the importance of critical thinking as it applies to learning and problem solving.
It was a great day for everyone. AEA is committed to thinking, teaching and learning “outside the box” to allow all of our students the best opportunity to achieve and succeed.
